Article – Diving Deeper into the Deep Web

Deep Web Technologies’ own VP of Professional Services, Brian DeSpain, was interviewed by SemanticWeb.com on the Deep Web.  The article, Diving Deeper into the Deep Web, summarizes our approach to the Deep Web using federated search, as well as the rough spots we encounter – such as scalability.  But SemanticWeb.com also pulled a few things out of Brian that we’ve kept fairly quiet.

“Where we are headed is to let users self-actualize or set up their own acts right at Mednar and have access to their data services,” Despain says.

That’s right!  Simply your data, your way.  No more hassling with vendors.  You would have access to your collections through an automated process that’s easy to set up.  More to come on this, so stay tuned…
